Border Patrol find 10 undocumented immigrants living in stash house

LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - Border Patrol agents of the Laredo Sector rescued ten undocumented immigrants who were found in a stash house in south Laredo.

According to Border Patrol, the incident happened on June 28th when agents along with Webb County Constables were called to a home on Coronado Drive.

Agents and law enforcement received a tip that several undocumented immigrants were being held at the residence waiting to be transported into the interior of the U.S.

The immigrants were determined to be from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador.

Two of the immigrants were identified as principals in the smuggling case.

Laredo Sector Acting Deputy Chief Patrol Agent Anthony S. Good says, “This enforcement action demonstrates the United States Border Patrol's commitment to work with our law enforcement partners to protect human life, disrupt illicit activity, and deny criminal organizations the ability to operate.”

All of the subjects were processed accordingly.
