LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - Customs and Border Protection Officers seized over two million dollars’ worth of illegal narcotics at a Laredo port of entry.
According to CBP, events transpired on Monday, November 5th when an officer referred a 2011 Dodge truck for secondary inspection.
When officers searched the truck, they found 100 packages which contained 260.4 pounds of alleged cocaine.
The drugs had an estimated street value of $2,008,040.
CBP officers seized the narcotics and the case was turned over to Homeland Security for further investigation.
