Drier air from west Texas cleared our skies during the afternoon. A shallow layer of humid gulf air will return overnight with a chance of patches of fog or low cloud during the morning. Drier air above will stir/clear the low cloud away during Friday. Highs will be high into the 80's. A wave in the upper level wind flow will produce rising air as it approaches late Friday night. Tall shower and thunderstorm clouds are possible toward dawn Saturday. The storms will be most common northward from a front stalled out to our north near San Antonio. We may catch the southern edge of the thunderstorm activity. Another wave in the upper level wind flow will move further to our north with only a slight chance of a shower toward Sunday dawn. Hotter weather will build into our area from Mexico early/mid next week.
I'm expecting patchy fog or low cloud toward dawn, low in the mid 60's. Becoming partly cloudy, high in the high 80's. a chance of a thunderstorm toward Saturday dawn, then clearing, high in the high 80's. Partly cloudy Sunday, high in the high 80's. Mostly sunny Monday, high in the mid to high 80's. Mainly sunny Tuesday through Thursday, highs in the low 90's Tuesday, the upper 90's Wednesday, the low 90's Thursday.
