A wave in the upper level wind flow will produce rising air for showers and thunderstorms mostly north of our area early Saturday morning, but we could get the southern edge of the showers. Another wave with it's rising air will track further to the south, offering our area a better chance of early morning showers and thunderstorms Sunday. Drier hotter air from the Mexican Plateau will expand northeast into south Texas Tuesday and especially Wednesday. Cooler air from the Great Plains will follow.
I'm expecting partly cloudy tonight, low in the upper 60's. A chance of a shower or thundershower early Saturday morning, then clearing skies, high in the high 80's. A better chance of an early morning shower or thunderstorm Sunday, some clearing during the afternoon, high in the 80's. Mostly sunny Monday, high in the upper 80's. Sunny Tuesday and Wednesday, highs in the mid 90's Tuesday, around 100 Wednesday. Mostly sunny Thursday, highs in the upper 80's. Mostly cloudy Friday, high in the 70's.
