A drier airmass from northwestern Mexico will clear our skies mid or late Thursday morning. The sunshine will warm the earth's surface sufficiently to raise our temperature to around 60. With clear skies, light winds, and dry air, heat will radiate out to space, and temperatures will fall into the 30's by dawn Friday. Low lying ground away from Laredo may have patches of frost. Sunshine and the return of southerly winds will bring warming temperatures beginning Friday afternoon, and especially during the weekend.
I'm expecting periods of light rain and drizzle tonight, low in the low 40's. Cloudy early, then clearing and not as cold Thursday afternoon, high around 60. Clear and cold Thursday night, low in the 30's. Sunny Friday, high in the upper 60's. Partly to mostly sunny Saturday through Wednesday, high in the 70's.
