The layer of gulf air with it's low cloud deck will bring mainly cloudy skies overnight and Thursday morning. Drier air will move in/mix down from above from the west Thursday. With clearing skies, temperatures will be much warmer. A couple of waves in the upper level wind flow will produce rising air, perhaps sufficient for showers or thundershowers late Friday night or early Saturday, and perhaps again late Saturday night or first thing Sunday. Hot air will expand northeast from Mexico early/mid next week.
I'm expecting cloudy tonight, low in the mid 60's. Cloudy Thursday morning, becoming sunny and much warmer in the afternoon, high in the high 80's. Clearing after morning clouds Friday, high in the high 80's. A chance of some showers or thundershowers late Friday night/early Saturday, perhaps again late Saturday night/dawn Sunday, otherwise partly cloudy both days, highs high into the 80's. Mostly sunny Monday through Wednesday, high in the high 80's Monday, the low 90's Tuesday, the high 90's Wednesday.
