A cooler airmass which moved from the Pacific across the Rockies, and into the Great Plains will reach our area by late tonight. A scattered shower is possible toward dawn as the leading edge of the cooler air moves through. The cool drier airmass will occupy a shallow layer of the lower atmosphere. Above will be moist air which will bring mostly cloudy skies. The cool dry airmass will move to our east, allowing for warmer more humid winds from the gulf to return during Friday. A scattered shower is possible in the humid air during Friday, and when a front from the Rockies moves into our area Friday night. Cooler, drier air will follow Sunday. Moist air will lift above the cool airmass Monday and Tuesday with clouds returning, and a slight chance of a shower.
I'm expecting partly to mostly cloudy tonight, a slight chance of a shower toward morning, cooler toward dawn, low in the mid 50's. Partly to mostly cloudy Wednesday and Thursday, high in the low to mid 60's. Partly to mostly cloud, warmer, and more humid with a chance of a shower Friday and Friday night, high in the 70's. Mostly sunny Saturday, high around 70. Mostly cloudy and cooler Sunday through Tuesday, a slight chance of a shower Monday and Tuesday, highs around 60. Tuesday
