Air form the Mexican Plateau arrived at the surface, raising our temperatures to 97F, and dropping dewpoints into the 30's (relative humidity under 15%). Humid air near the coast may make a brief appearance during the middle of tonight, and then, cooler air will move southward into south Texas from the Great Plains. Temperatures will still be warm Thursday, but noticeably cooler beginning Friday. A series of weak waves in the upper level wind flow may bring scattered showers Saturday and Monday.
I'm expecting clear skies tonight, becoming humid briefly in the middle of the night, lowering humidity toward morning, low in the low 60's. Mostly sunny Thursday, high around 80. Mostly cloudy Friday through Monday, a slight chance of showers Saturday and Monday, highs in the 60's. Partly to mostly sunny Tuesday and Wednesday, high near 70 Tuesday, in the 70's Wednesday.
