Cosby Show actor shamed for working at Trader Joes

An actor who was featured in “The Cosby Show” is being job shamed after he was seen bagging groceries at a New Jersey grocery store.
A photo of 57-year-old Geoffrey Owens, known as surfaced online showing him bagging groceries at a Trader Joes.
Owens played Elvin Tibideaux, the husband of the oldest daughter of Bill Cosby’s character on the show.
The woman who posted the photos was shocked to see someone who was once on a popular TV show doing that type of work.
Karma Lawrence made a comment saying “Wow, all those years of doing the show and you ended up as a cashier.”
Several actors and media outlets took to Twitter to defend Owens saying that several actors need to make a living and might have to take up odd jobs.
The Yale graduate has also find jobs behind the camera directing and even teaching.
