LAREDO,Texas(KGNS)- The City of Laredo has one more request for Dannenbaum Engineering after its sudden halt on the Hachar Road project.
Councilman for District 7, George Altgelt, is requesting all the information, plans, and source data related to the road project.
He says its work that the City of Laredo has already paid for, and therefore whatever Dannenbaum has on the project, belongs to the city.
The councilman tells us the Hachar Road is of high priority, not only for his constituents but also for the city. As a port would fluently connect trailers from Mines Road to I-35.
Now the reason for requesting this information is to look for another corporation that would be able to get the project going.
Councilman Altgelt tells us an estimated $800,000 was paid to Dannenbaum Engineering for the Hachar Road project.
