Election Day: Last chance to head out to the polls!

LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - It’s Election Day which means many people across the Gateway City as well as the State of Texas will rush to the polls to cast their vote.

Early voting brought out over 33,000 voters, and the Webb County Elections office is getting ready for what's to come.

Some of the races include Mayor of Laredo, Municipal Court Judge, County Judge, City Council District 2, 3, and six plus many more.

The Webb County Election Administrator Jose Salvador Tellez encourages voters to head out to the polls early, as it is expected to be a hectic day.

Final results should be out by 10:30 or 11 p-m, depending on when the last voting site closes, and when the ballots and equipment get downtown.

If you would like to cast your ballot; you still have time, the polls will open at 7 a.m. all the way until 7 p.m.

Remember, in order to vote, you will need to head to your designated precinct.
