(CNN) - If you are having trouble posting your holiday greetings on your social media account you are not alone.
Facebook and Instagram have reported a major outage leaving users unable to send or receive messages.
It’s not clear what caused the issue but it is the latest in a series of outages.
According to the website Down Detector, users worldwide were affected by the outage.
