LAREDO,TX (KGNS) - Habitat for Humanity received a $10,000 donation to continue its mission of helping families in need.
The funds will go towards the AmeriCorp Program that will help train volunteers how to build homes.
The non-profit organization hopes that through these funds, volunteers will be able to more about construction which will help provide families with high quality homes.
Reagan Macdonald with Texas Community Bank says they are thrilled to help Habitat for Humanity provide homes for community members.
Habitat for Humanity is known for building families who may not otherwise be able to afford one.
Every year the organization gets a group of volunteers together and builds a brand new home for a well-deserved community member.
