Hockey fans stuff the ice with teddy bears

Hershey, PA (CNN) - Fans of a Pennsylvania hockey team came together to help kids celebrate the holidays.

Teddy bears hit the ice, literally during the Hershey Bears game at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

The arena was stuffed with over 34,000 bears that were tossed the audience.

The number smashed the more than 25,000 bears donated last year.
It also sets a new world teddy bear toss record.

The stuffed animals will be donated to about 30 area charities.
