LAREDO, The Holding Institute has been helping a group of migrants that were bussed to Laredo from Eagle Pass.
Organizers are saying they soon expect more migrants to arrive.
The first group seen in Laredo was part of the group that first hit Piedras Negras.
As Eagle Pass shelters reached capacity, these groups started sending migrants to Laredo, Reynosa, San Antonio, and McAllen.
Sources in Mexico are telling the Holding Institute that all shelters in the center of Mexico are full and there are still many people en route to the U.S.
They are estimating 6 to 7 thousand people to make their way to the U.S.-Mexico border. It's expected that many members of that group will end up in Laredo and the valley.
