Houston Police officer dances with girl in wheelchair at party

HOUSTON, TX (CNN) - A Houston Police officer got a chance to bust a move while showing off his heart of gold.

Officer Sandy Fernandez says he was working security at a quinceañera last weekend when he spotted a special guest on the dancefloor.

The young girl was in a wheelchair watching the party guests dance and then decided she wanted to dance herself.

The girl started dancing with her mother, that’s when Officer Fernandez walked the floor and asked her if she would like to be his dance partner.

The two busted out their best dance moves as the DJ played the tunes.

Houston DJ Juan Mancha posted the video on his Facebook saying, “This is why I love my job.”

The video has been viewed over 67,300 times on Facebook.
