LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - The Imaginarium of South Texas held its first of many career day events over the weekend.

On Saturday, representatives with the museum focused on science, technology, engineering, art and Mathematics, better known as STEM.

The Imaginarium invited many people from the community who specialize in science-like fields such as doctors and biologists.

Students were invited from all area middle and high schools.

The Imaginarium usually caters to a much younger crowd, but they wanted to branch out to young adults and help them get some hands-on experience.

The event offered community services hours to students who visited different educational booths.
