LAREDO,Texas(KGNS)- Clarissa Rangel, director of the City of Laredo Animal Care facility has been removed from the position.
As of January 4, Fleet Director for the City of Laredo, Heberto "Beto" Ramirez will oversee day-to-day operations at the center.
Ramirez will serve as the Interim Director of the Animal Care Center until further notice.
His position as he states is to look at the organization and prepare it for a new head.
He comes from working in different departments throughout his career and after an evaluation process, it was determined that Ramirez was the best fit for the interim position.
Ramirez will hold the fort down, for the next three to four months until a permanent director is found.
We reached out to the city manager's office for comment on the move and are still waiting on their response.
