Laredo College helps Brighwood College students

LAREDO,Texas(KGNS)- Students are looking elsewhere for their continued education after Brightwood College announces they are closing their doors.

With students questions left unanswered, they are turning to Laredo College for a solution to the problem they now face.

One college representative tells us they've been receiving numerous phone calls from students that attended Brightwood College and have been meeting with them to explore all possible options.

He tells us most of the students that have contacted Laredo College have two topics in mind, transferability of credits and money to pay for classes.

Our request for comment from the Education Corporation of America, the parent company of Brightwood College has gone unanswered.

Their website is still up and running with a banner saying Brightwood is no longer accepting new student enrollments.
