Laredo Health Department hosts back to school immunization clinic

LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) - With less than a week left until school starts, parents still needing to mark off a few things from their check list such as immunizations can be found at a back to school clinic.

On Tuesday, the Laredo Health Department, along with Councilwoman Nelly Vielma is hosting an immunization clinic over at the Laredo Public Library.

Parents who may not have had the chance to take their kids to get their shots during the summer can stop by the clinic for those services, as well as other services for back to school.

All schools require that students have their vaccines, so Councilwoman Vielma encourages everyone to stop by and take advantage.

The immunization clinic will be open until seven pm and will be taking place over at the Laredo Public Library.

They do ask that you bring a copy of your immunization records.
