Laredo Public Library to host presentation of Crazy Horse

LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - The Laredo Public Library is inviting the community to come out to a very special historical presentation on one of the most important figures in Native American History, Crazy Horse.

Crazy Horse was known among his people as a farsighted chief committed to safeguarding the tradition and principals of the Sioux way of life.

One of Crazy Horse’s great offspring, Floyd Clown Sr. decided to team up with author William Matson to write a book on Crazy Horse’s life.

Their book “Crazy Horse: The Lakota Warrior’s Life and Legacy” is based on the family’s oral history of the famous warrior and this is the first time the story has been told.

The library will be hosting a book signing and discussion for anyone who would like to learn about the history.

The event will take place on Tuesday, January 22nd, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
