LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) - Dozens of leaders from the Logistics and Manufacturing industry gathered at TAMIU for the 24th annual Logistics and Manufacturing Symposium.
The event brought the topic of trade in the gateway city.
One of the panels included Congressman Henry Cuellar and Jack Gerard, president and CEO of the American Petroleum Institute.
The two both discussed energy renaissance in North America.
Cuellar says the panel focused on the connection between trade, and oil and gas.
Others that spoke at the symposium were representatives from the Woodrow Wilson Center and from the U.S. Office International Trade.
