A front moving east from the desert southwest will quickly move across Texas Saturday. A cap of warm air aloft will prevent the air from being buoyant enough to produce tall rain clouds. The air will be drier Saturday afternoon, and warm. Moist gulf air will begin the return Sunday and Monday with warm mostly cloudy nights and mostly cloudy warm days. A wave in the upper level wind flow will move across our area Tuesday night. The spreading apart of the upper level wind flow will produce lifting air in the lower atmosphere with the chance of a thunderstorm. Drier air will follow Wednesday. Cooler air from the north will begin to filter into the area at the end of next week.
I'm expecting clouds late tonight, low in the upper 60's. Clearing with lower afternoon humidity, high in the mid to high 80's. Mostly cloudy and becoming more humid Sunday and Monday, high in the low 80's. Breezy and quite warm Tuesday, a chance of a thunderstorm Tuesday night, high in the upper 80's. Sunny with lower humidity Wednesday and Thursday, high around or above 80. Mostly cloudy and cooler Monday, high in the upper 60's.
