LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) - A man is arrested for allegedly using fake money to pay for food.
Laredo Police arrested 19-year-old Angel Esteban Lozano in the case.
According to police, Lozano had gone to a specific fast food franchise at two separate locations and paid with fake $100 bills.
At one of the locations, employees noticed something suspicious about the bill and jotted down Lozano’s license plate.
Employees contacted police who then launched an investigation into the case.
Detectives did find out that the bills were indeed fake and they were able to track down Lozano with the license plate number.
Employees were able to pick out Lozano through a police lineup.
As a result, Lozano was arrested and charged with forgery.
