LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) - Shoppers at a Laredo Walmart got a scare when gun fire broke out in the store parking lot.

The incident happened on Tuesday night at the Walmart located on Loop 20 and Clark Street.
According to Laredo Police, two men got into an altercation, which escalated into one man pulling out a gun.
The alleged gunman started shooting and allegedly shot an 18-year-old man in the leg and in the arm.
The young man then ran into the store and asked store employees for help.
The 18-year-old was taken to the hospital; luckily, both of the gunshot wounds appear to be non-life-threatening.
Police say they believe the two men knew each other.
So far, authorities have yet to arrest anyone in connection with the shooting.
