Mexican President thanks Trump for not closing the border

LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - Mexico's leader is speaking out about the decision to limit travel for those leaving Mexico and entering into the U.S.

The Mexican President, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, said on Monday during a press conference that he appreciates Trump's decision to not completely close down the bridges in wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Mexican leader says he is hoping to keep the ports of entry open and wants to continue working with the United States.
