Humid air is returning aloft with cloudier skies, and a chance of some scattered overnight showers and during Thursday morning. Tropical warmth and humidity will move in Friday through Sunday. A much cooler airmass from the Canadian Prairies will quickly surge south across the Rockies and Great Plains during Sunday, reaching south Texas Sunday night. Much cooler and damp weather will follow as moist air flows in from the south above the arriving chilly air in the lower atmosphere.
I'm expecting a slight chance of showers tonight into Thursday, some clearing Thursday afternoon. Low tonight around 70, high Thursday in the 80's. Partly cloudy Friday through Sunday. Humid and hot, highs around or a little above 90. Turning cool Sunday night with a chance of showers. Cloudy and much cooler with patchy light rain Monday and Tuesday, high in the 60's.
