New Procedure Can Diminish the Double Chin
You don't have to be born with a jaw-dropping profile.
Some celeb secrets are out on how to look great with a chin procedure that's catching on outside of Hollywood.
Hollywood loves a red carpet pose. The key to nailing the look? A killer profile.
"You know, I think we have seen a lot of celebrities, sort of their jaw shape changing," says plastic surgeon Dr. Sheila Nazarian. "It's definitely out there, and it is definitely being used. And the beautiful thing about it is that its subtle. Patients sort of have a complaint about their double chin, and it's up to [the] physician and surgeon, to say, 'You know what? This is just isn't fat, this just isn't excess skin. You have a weak jaw.'"
"I am here to see dr. Nazarian and to see what she can do for this part of my chin," one patient said.
So what makes this procedure different?

"I think it is an amazing procedure," Sheila said. "It's quick, minimal downtime, and it just gives people that optimal version of themselves - which is really what my patients come to me for."
"I just want to be a little more confident in taking close-ups or selfies. You know, better profile," the patient said.
This patient is looking for a bolder look.
Doctor: "How long has this been bothering you?"
Patient: "Two years, maybe three years."
Doctor: "Have you always noticed you have a little extra down here?"
Patient: "I think it is genetic, too."
Doctor: "What we are going to do for you today is non-invasive chin augmentation, and all that means is we are going to use a little bit of filler in order to give you a more ideal profile."
Doctor: "We're are all done. Have a look."
Patient: "Oh my gosh, I love it! I am extremely happy with these results!"
