(NBC) - Another group of Central American migrants started out in a caravan in El Salvador hoping to reach the United States.
A group of about 300 Salvadorians departed from the capital, San Salvador, and headed towards the border.
The group was organized via Facebook and emulated other recent caravans that have brought migrants together.
It’s unclear who organized the new group.
It is about 75 miles to the border with Guatemala and another 185 miles to reach Mexico’s southernmost border.
