Nuevo Laredo reports 34 COVID-19 related deaths

Officials in Nuevo Laredo are reporting another series of coronavirus cases in our sister city.

As of June 13th, officials have confirmed 359 positive cases of COVID-19 as well as 34 deaths.

Right now officials are monitoring, 230 cases remain active, 106 are pending and 95 patients have recovered.

A total of 3,389 cases have been reported in the entire State of Tamaulipas.

The death toll as a result of COVID-19 complications continues to rise in our sister city of Nuevo Laredo.

As of June 11th, Nuevo Laredo officials have reported a total of 326 positive cases as well as 31 deaths.

Fortunately, 76 patients have made a full recovery and 116 test results are still pending.

So far, there have been a total of 2,827 positive cases in the entire state of Tamaulipas.

The city has implemented several safety measures at its ports of entry to prevent the spread of the virus.

The number of deaths relating to COVID-19 in our sister city surpasses Laredo's numbers.

Nuevo Laredo health officials are reporting an uptake of positive cases.

As of Wednesday, June 10th currently 313 cases have been reported with 148 still waiting on results.

Thankfully, 76 people have recovered, however 29 people have died.

As for the state of Tamaulipas, there are over 2,700 cases of confirmed positives.
