LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) - After more than 30 hours without power, the last remaining customers had their electricity restored.
AEP crews have worked around the clock since power went out on Monday, but constant overload to the system caused repeated issues and outages.
A mobile substation was brought in from out of town and set up at the Del Mar substation to help with the problem.
The power came back on early Wednesday morning after about 90 customers were without power.
All of the residents who were affected were in district six.
Councilman Charlie San Miguel says AEP worked hard to get power back up.
AEP says all power should be restored by now.
If you are still without power, you are urged to call 1-866-223-8508.
