LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - Local students pursuing employment in health care had a chance to get an inside look at their potential career path.
The Texas A&M Coastal Bend Health Education Center hosted its 16th annual Future Health Professionals Conference, a program aimed at sparking the interests of students who are looking to get a job in health care.
Students were provided with resources to help make informed decisions about their future.
Along with helping students navigate their way through the maze of schools, students learned about the opportunities available to them.
Students also got a chance to learn about careers that are in high demand and the compensation for professions across the state.
