A deep layer of moist air will be lifted to form tall rain clouds and thunderstorms Friday and Friday night by a cold front arriving form the north, and with a wave in the upper level wind flow Friday evening. Cooler drier air from the Great Plains follows. By Wednesday, the cool dry airmass will move to our east, and warmer southerly winds will return.
I'm expecting mostly cloudy tonight, low in the low to mid 60's. Mostly cloudy with showers Friday morning/midday, thunderstorms Friday evening, high in the mid to high 60's. Clearing and cooler Saturday through Tuesday, highs in the 60's, lows in the high 30's to low 40's. Partly cloudy Wednesday and Thursday, high in the 70's.
