SAN ANTONIO, TX (KSAT) - A woman is dead after a Thursday morning drive by shooting on the northeast side of San Antonio
The incident happened on Thursday morning at around 11 a.m. at a home located in the 4000 block of Coral Sunrise.
Authorities believe the shooter allegedly drove by the home, and opened fire on two teenage boys who were sitting in the driveway.
Meanwhile, the boys’ mother, who was in the bedroom at the time was hit by a bullet in the stomach.
The woman then ran outside the house to call for help, which is when she collapsed and died at the scene.
When police arrived, the boys attempted to flee on foot but were eventually captured and taken into custody.
Another woman who was at the home at the time was not injured in the shooting.
Police are still investigating the case and are expected to make an arrest soon.
