A warm and humid flow of air is returning to south Texas from the gulf. This may bring a scattered shower Friday. Our better chance of showers will be during Friday evening when lifting motion with a wave in the upper level wind flow approaches. At the surface, a front arriving from the Rockies will also be approaching, aiding in producing rising air to form tall shower clouds. Drier, mild weather will follow from the Rockies Saturday. Moist air will begin to flow above the Rocky Mountain air Sunday through Tuesday with cloudier skies, and cooler temperatures. Another wave in the upper level wind flow will approach Tuesday, bringing a chance of showers.
I'm expecting cloudy tonight, low in the mid to high 50's. Mostly cloudy Friday, a slight chance of a shower, a better chance Friday evening. Highs in the low 70's. Becoming mostly sunny Saturday, high in the low 70's. Cloudier Sunday through Tuesday, a chance of showers Tuesday, high in the high 50's. Clearing Wednesday and Thursday, high in the 60's Wednesday, the 70's Thursday.
