A group of passengers on board a commercial plane got a scare on Thursday afternoon when the pilot was forced to make an emergency landing at the Laredo International Airport.

According to the Laredo Police Department, the incident happened at around 1 p.m. when an American Eagle Plane that was traveling from Dallas to Aguascalientes reportedly saw smoke coming from the cabin.

The flight was then diverted to Laredo where it landed without incident.
