Students work to complete a sculpture in south Laredo
A piece of art will soon welcome visitors coming to the City of Laredo.
The rendering of a new sculpture in south Laredo took place Wednesday morning.
During the event, city officials along with students from Martin High School and Vidal M. Trevino broke ground on the project.
Councilman Alex Perez, says the project will give south Laredo a much-needed update.
The sculpture is estimated to be a work weighing 10-thousand pounds.
Students will be working to complete this sculpture within 3 months.
