Lifting air in advance of a wave in the upper level wind flow is producing taller clouds with scattered showers. After this goes by, sunny warmer weather will move in from the west during Saturday. We will begin to see cooler air from the Great Plains arrive on Sunday. Higher up in the atmosphere, moist air from the gulf and central Mexico will arrive above the Great Plains air, bringing a return to cloudy skies. A new wave in the upper level wind flow will arrive from the west Tuesday with taller clouds with showers. A trend to sunnier, warmer weather will follow, beginning Wednesday.
I'm expecting mostly cloudy with a chance of evening showers. Patches of fog is possible toward dawn, low in the 50's. Becoming sunny Saturday with lower afternoon humidity. High in the 70's. Becoming cloudy and cooler Sunday through Tuesday, rain possible Tuesday. Highs near 60 Sunday, the 50's Monday and Tuesday. Clearing Wednesday through Friday, highs in the 60's Wednesday, the 70's Thursday, near 80 Friday.
