Members of christian organizations from across the city came together in support of the event hosted by the Broken Walls Ministry.

Broken Wall Ministries founder David Alvarado claims that through the power of god he was able to dispense the LGBTQ life style.

This religious seminar was meant to inspire those with a desire to adjust to a heterosexual way of life and to do so with the support of the church.

Across campus a separate event was held by the TAMIU Campus Ally Network.

They set up booths and held a live show to bring the LGBTQ community together, and to express tolerance towards all types of sexual orientations.

This event was sponsored by the Equality Texas organization.
