Thief steals two million dollars worth of jewelry from Daddy Yankee

Ramón Luis Ayala Rodríguez better known by his stage name, Daddy Yankee was the target of a hotel room heist in Spain.

According to reports, a thief posing as the Puerto Rican artist pretended to be Daddy Yankee and stole two million dollars’ worth of jewelry from the singer’s hotel room.

Spanish media reported that the singer was outside his hotel room at the time when a man impersonating the performer called staff at his Valencia Hotel to open the room’s safe.

The artist known for hit songs such as Despacito and Gasolina is currently touring in Europe.

The incident is under investigation.
