Two men banned from Texas gun range for taking selfies with gun

HOUSTON, TX (KTRK) - Two men are banned from a Texas gun range after one of them held a gun to his friend’s head hoping to get a selfie for social media.

The incident happened last Friday at the Top Gun Range in Houston located near the Galleria.

Surveillance video shows the moment where one of the men started taking pictures with the gun in his hand and then pointed it at his friend’s head for another.

Top Gun Manager Kyle Harrison says while the gun was not loaded, this is everything you should not do when it comes to firearm safety.

Harrison is sharing the video and the experience in hopes that it teaches others a lesson that guns are not to be played with.

The manager says never point a gun at anything you do not want to destroy.

While the range is available for practice, customers are expected to do it properly and safely.

Harrison says those who violate the rules will not be allowed back.
