LAREDO,Texas(KGNS)- United ISD is alerting students ahead of Valentine's Day of some of the policies that'll be in place for the holiday.
The district asks that parents and students be aware that despite the significance of the holiday they still want to maintain a safe learning environment.
Guidelines that are in place include no messengers in costume or disguise, no glass or ceramic containers, no balloons, no items taller than two feet, no live animals or pets, no items campus administration finds distractive, and no deliveries after 2 p-m.
Campuses will be unable to assume responsibility for the storage, care, and delivery of all items.
Students who receive gifts will have to sign for them.
If you have more questions the district encourages you to contact your respective campus administrator.
