Probation terminated for Councilman Vidal Rodriguez

LAREDO, TX (KGNS) - Councilman for District Two, Vidal Rodriguez was in court asking a judge to terminate his probation early.

According to court records, his probation was still pending a month longer, but the judge granted the early termination.

The case stems from the incident between the councilman and then-candidate Annette Bonugli.

The probation comes from his charge of unauthorized use and disclosure of information.

Rodriguez' attorney says, the councilman completed all 50 hours of community service hours, court costs, took a government ethics class and made a $500 donation.
