Warm humid air will expand northward overnight with warmer gulf winds returning to La Salle and Dimmit counties by Tuesday. Low cloud and possible mist may develop in the humid air late tonight or Tuesday morning. The low cloud will mix away, allowing for enough sun to raise our temperatures high into the 80's Tuesday. A front will move eastward across Texas Tuesday night. Most of the lifting motion for tall rain clouds will go by to our north. The best chance of strong thunderstorms will be mostly from around Del Rio and San Antonio, and especially northward from there. Warm drier air will follow Wednesday into Thursday. A cooler airmass will move in from the Great Plains beginning Friday.
I'm expecting mostly cloudy warm and humid tonight, low around 70. Becoming partly cloudy Tuesday afternoon, breezy, high well into the 80's. Becoming mostly sunny with lower humidity Wednesday, high in the upper 80's. Mostly sunny Thursday, high in the low 80's. Partly to mostly cloudy Friday through Monday, high in the high 60's. A slight chance of a shower with an upper level disturbance Saturday.
