A new cold airmass from the Rockies and Great Plains will move south into our area Tuesday night and Wednesday. Moist gulf air lifting above the Great Plains air will bring a return to cold and wet weather Tuesday night and Wednesday. Drier air will begin to clear our skies Thursday. Southerly winds will bring warmer weather Friday, and especially during the weekend.
I'm expecting mainly clear tonight, low in the low 40's, colder on low lying ground. Increasing clouds Tuesday afternoon, high in the low to mid 60's. Periods of rain Tuesday night and Wednesday, temperatures only in the 40's to near 50. Gradual clearing Thursday, high in the low 60's. Sunny Friday through Monday, high near 70 Friday, well into the 70's this weekend and Monday.
