Man Hospitalized After Structure Fire

The Laredo Fire Department responded to a structure fire within the 1900 block of Woodland Drive on Friday morning.

The fire started in the garage at around 9:00 am.

There is heavy fire damage to garage and roof of the two-story home, as well as heavy smoke and water damage to rest of the home.

A man in his early 40's is recovering in a San Antonio hospital with burns and smoke inhalation.

The fire is currently under investigation.
