City clarifies reports of COVID-19 death

The City of Laredo took to social media Friday evening to clarify earlier statements made by the City of Laredo Health Department’s Health Authority, Dr. Victor Trevino, that a death was probably related to COVID-19.

The City of Laredo released an updated confirming 30 positive cases of COVID-19. During the city news brief, officials stated that 11 people were hospitalized, ten in Laredo and one in San Antonio.
