Local Districts Keeping the Lights On

Both UISD and LISD are joining districts across the state in turning on the lights to their football stadiums in a sign of hope and encouragement.

Earlier this week the National Premier Soccer League made the decision to pull the plug on the 2020 summer season due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

It was another big year for girls hoops in the Gateway City and Evelyn Quiroz stood above the rest and for that reason she's our KGNS All-Laredo Most Valuable Player.

Rodney 'Mac' McConnell is the 7th head basketball coach in TAMIU's history and is looking to bring a no nonsense approach to the court.

Just one year after returning to football after being diagnosed with a nervous disorder, Cowboy center Travis Frederick is retiring from the sport.
