Beyond the Headlines: Laredo city manager releases city’s 2024 resolutions, reflects on year on the job

LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - New Year’s resolutions: they help us think of what we could be as a different version of who we currently are.

There are the common ones.

Some of us might pledge to run more, others vow to donate to charity more often, and the rest of us profess to do whatever it takes to win your fantasy football league.

But if you’re the City of Laredo, you want to make life better for your citizens—and you have a plan for that.

To start off the year, City Manager Joseph Neeb released his New Year’s resolution for the City of Laredo’s 2024 efforts.

Among the list of priorities are the development and growth of city employees, bridge, transportation, and water infrastructure, as well as cultural and economic revitalization.

The plans are outlined below.
