Laredo ISD commencement ceremonies set for Tuesday

LAREDO, Tx. (KGNS) - Thousands of Laredo ISD students are expected to walk the stage at the Sames Auto Arena for their graduation.

On Tuesday, May 28, LISD will have three commencement ceremonies for its high school graduates.

Nixon High School will be the first graduation ceremony at 10 a.m. with Cigarroa High School set for 2 p.m. and Martin High School scheduled for 6 p.m.

LISD officials say the arena doors will open exactly one hour before the scheduled start time to allow families enough time to find parking and get seated.

As per the arena guidelines, no balloons or noisemakers are allowed, and only clear bags are allowed inside the building.

If you are not able to make it to either of the graduation ceremonies, LISD will be livestreaming the ceremonies on the district’s website.
